OPTIONAL FRIDAY CLASSES/EVENTS
AFFILIATE CLASSES
We are offering free, non-credited classes presented by two of our affiliates on Friday.
The first class runs from 8 a.m. until noon and is presented by Radon Authority. You can read an overview of what will be learned by clicking here.
The second class runs from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. and is presented by HomeGauge. This presentation will focus on reporting software.
Agenda for the HomeGauge Class:
1 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. Introduction and Basic Overview
1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. Report Writing
2:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. Working with the Template
3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. Report Distribution and the HG Dashboard Features
4:30 p.m. – 5: 00 p.m. Review
Although these classes are free – you must register to attend them so that enough seating is provided. You can choose to attend one or both. FOUR POINTS AND ROOF CERTIFICATIONS
This four hour course taught by Glenn Stephens will be held Friday from 8 a.m. until noon.
WIND MITIGATION CERTIFICATION AND CONTINUING EDUCATION
This is a three hour course (plus test for those doing the initial certification) taught by Glenn Stephens. It will begin at 1 p.m. on Friday.
Both Four Points/Roof Certs and Wind Mitigation classes are part of the 14 hour package.

Inspector Round Table
After last year’s legislative session, it became clear that Florida inspectors are not prepared for the effects of outside influences.
FABI’s Strategic Planning Committee decided it would be in the best interest of the Licensed Home Inspectors of Florida and FABI to examine possible changes to the licensing of home inspectors in the state through round table discussions.
The fourth round table discussion will be held Friday, December 6 beginning at 1 p.m.
You are invited to attend as a spectator/audience participator. This is free to attend, but you need to register so that enough seating is available for everyone. SATURDAY / SUNDAY (MAIN CONFERENCE)
Saturday will feature presentations on great topics such as seawalls and lifts and pool safety.
After a long day of learning, join us in the hospitality suite for our Holiday Dress Up Party. Wear your favorite holiday themed pajamas or your ugliest Christmas sweater and you’ll be eligible for a prize. Thanks to Radalink for sponsoring the hospitality suite.
Sunday offers our annual membership meeting and a couple of business classes.
Saturday sessions will provide six (6) HI credits and Sunday sessions will provide two (2) credits.
FABI, ASHI and InterNACHI credits are also provided.
